Purchase the wrong item? Or simply change your mind?
This Policy sets out your rights in relation to returns, refunds, and cancellations for purchases made via the Stages Cycling website (the “Site”), including any applicable consumer rights under local law, as well as the conditions applicable to such requests.
Please read this Policy carefully, as it forms part of the Legal Terms which you agree to be bound by when you make purchases from the Site.
If you have any questions regarding a return or need assistance ordering a product, please contact us at [email protected].
Contents
1. Your right to change your mind
For most products purchased from the Site, you may change your mind about your purchase and request a return or refund in accordance with this Policy and any applicable consumer protection laws.
You may exercise this right by providing us with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from the purchase (for example, by contacting us). Refusing delivery of the product may also be treated as an exercise of your withdrawal right, provided that you notify us of your decision within the applicable return period.
If you have purchased one of our products from a third-party dealer, then any returns should be made to the dealer and in accordance with the dealer’s returns policy.
Your return rights are subject to the conditions set out below.
2. When you can’t change your mind
You cannot change your mind about an order for:
goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized;
digital contents (for example, Stages Cycling University workshops) once downloading, streaming, or other access has begun; or
Services (for example, a Stages Cycling University certification) once the services have been fully performed or completed.
3. The deadline for changing your mind
If you change your mind about goods purchased from the Site, you must notify us no later than thirty (30) days after the day you receive the goods. If the goods are delivered in multiple shipments, the return period runs from the day after the final delivery.
For services or digital content, any cancellation or withdrawal rights are subject to Section 2 above and may no longer apply once the services have been performed or access to the digital content has begun.

5. You have to return the product at your own cost
If your purchase is for goods, such as a power meter or a studio exercise bike, you have to return the product (together with any free gifts, accessories, components, manuals, or other included items) within thirty (30) days after notifying us that you wish to return or cancel your purchase. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. You may:

If we do not receive the product and you cannot provide reasonable proof of shipment, we may be unable to process your refund. For help with returns, contact our Customer Service Team.
6. We may reduce your refund if you have used or damaged a product
If a product is not returned in its original condition, we may reduce the refund amount to reflect any diminished value of the product. Diminished value may be assessed based on factors including: (i) damage to the product; (ii) the condition of the packaging; and (iii) whether all accessories, components, manuals, or other included items are returned and reusable.
You may inspect and handle the product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning. If the product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary for inspection and evaluation, we may reduce the refund amount to reflect any resulting diminished value. This may include, for example, where accessories or components are missing, the packaging is damaged beyond reasonable inspection, or the product shows visible signs of use, scratches, cosmetic damage, abuse, or other damage.
Any deduction for diminished value will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The following examples are illustrative only and any deduction will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to reflect the actual diminished value of the product.
| Return Condition | Applicable Deductible |
|---|---|
| Packaging damaged (beyond reasonable inspection) | 10 USD / Euro / Pound |
| Product missing or not reusable (heavily damaged) | Up to 100% of the original purchase |
| Product superficially damaged or scratched | Up to 20% of the original purchase |
Refund reductions may also include:
any additional delivery costs selected by you above our standard delivery option (for example, expedited shipping);
the return shipping costs reasonably incurred by us in connect with a return or refused delivery of the product; and
any import duties, taxes, or customs charges paid on your behalf which are non-refundable or not recoverable by us.
In some cases, depending on the condition of the returned product, the refund amount may be substantially reduced where the returned product is heavily damaged, incomplete, or no longer reusable. Our Customer Service Team may provide guidance regarding potential refund reductions before you return the product.
7. When and how we refund you
If your purchase is for services, digital content, or goods that have not yet been dispatched, we will process your refund as soon as reasonably possible and, in any event, within 14 days after you notify us that you wish to cancel or withdraw from the purchase.
If your purchase is for goods that are being turned to us, we will process your refund you within 14 days after we receive the returned goods (or receive reasonable evidence that the goods have been returned).
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed. We do not charge a fee for processing refunds.
8. You have further rights if there is something wrong with your product
If you believe there is something wrong with your product, please contact our Customer Service Team, who will explain the applicable return or warranty process for defective products. Where required in order to assess the issue or process your claim, defective products may need to be returned to us. We will comply with our legal obligations to provide you with products that are as described to you on our website and that meet all the requirements imposed by applicable law.
9. We may make changes to our products and services
We may make changes to our products and services, from time to time, for example to:
reflect changes in applicable laws or regulatory requirements;
make minor technical adjustments, improvements, and security updates, or
update digital content, provided that the digital content continues to materially match the description provided to you before purchase, including where updates are necessary for functionality, compatibility, or security purposes.
We may also discontinue products or services in future, including subscriptions for digital content or goods. Where applicable, we will provide reasonable advance notice and refund any prepaid amounts for products or services that will no longer be provided.
10. Local consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any consumer rights that cannot not be limited or excluded under applicable law. Where applicable consumer protection laws provide additional rights, those rights will apply to the extent required by law.
