“I’ve always had power, but finally I’m really able to maximize my power. My coach can look at my Stages Power data and tell me, ‘This is a good workout, this is a bad workout.’ Plus when you’re just basing your workouts on heart rate and effort, you don’t really know your fatigue level. Using the Power Data I can see exactly where I am in a training block.” – Syd Schulz

SYD’S FAVORITE WAY TO TRAIN WITH POWER: “This is my first year training with a coach, and beyond having all the data to focus my training, it’s also been great to know when I’m on the verge of over training. It’s great to be able to compare my Stages Power Data with other training tools like heart rate. Looking at how these two respond to one another helps my coach and I know when to push and when to take a rest week.”
The Do-It-All Workout
To have none. Enduro is waaay to unpredictable.
My greatest obstacle is probably my mind. And my greatest fear is never finding out what I’m capable of.
BEST TRAINING FEELING:
Feeling overtraining exhausted and eating a lot. And getting faster, obviously.
WORST TRAINING MOMENTS:
The workouts where you absolutely can’t hit your numbers for some reason or another. Those days suck.
THE FOOD YOU COULD EAT EXCLUSIVELY FOREVER:
Some sort of pasta with lots of veggies.
